Premium Auto Bid for buyers in Albania
Premium Auto Bid is the vehicle-auction brokerage brand operated by Premium Logistics SHPK, an Albanian limited company registered with the National Business Centre (QKB) under NUIS M53004202C. From our office in Kamëz, Tirana, we help buyers across Albania research salvage and used vehicles from Copart, place bids on Copart in real time through the Copart API, and arrange import to Albania through the Port of Durrës. The specific sample cars shown on this site are clearly-labelled demonstration listings and are not biddable.
This page explains how our service works for customers located in Albania: who we serve, the step-by-step bidding flow, what to expect on import and customs, and how to reach our local team. Everything here is specific to the Albanian market.
Important: The specific sample cars displayed on Premium Auto Bid are demonstration (sample) listings, not real Copart lots, and cannot be bid on. Premium Auto Bid places customer bids on Copart in real time through the Copart API once a customer has completed identity verification, accepted the Member Terms, and has an approved deposit. We are not an official Copart partner, and we are not owned by or affiliated with Copart, Inc. Vehicles sold through third-party auction sources are sold AS-IS, with no guarantee of condition, title, mileage, history, outcome, or timeline.
Who we serve in Albania
We work with private buyers, sole traders, and businesses in Albania who want a structured, transparent way to source vehicles from US auctions and bring them home. Premium Logistics SHPK is an Albanian company based in Kamëz, Tirana, so you deal with a local entity that understands the documentation, the Port of Durrës, and the realities of importing into Albania.
Alongside Albania, we also serve customers in Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Montenegro. Wherever you are based, the same principle applies: your bids are submitted to Copart in real time through the Copart API, and nothing happens on your behalf until your identity is verified, your deposit is confirmed, and you have accepted our Member Terms.
- Individuals in Albania buying a vehicle for personal use.
- Sole traders and small dealerships sourcing stock for resale.
- Businesses needing fleet, utility, or project vehicles.
- Buyers who want a clear, document-driven import process into Albania.
How it works for Albanian buyers
Our process is deliberately step-by-step. Compliance checks happen before any bid is placed, and once you are cleared your bids are submitted to Copart in real time through the Copart API. The specific sample cars shown here are demonstration listings; live Copart inventory is handled through the platform.
- 1
Browse demo Copart lots
Explore clearly-labelled demonstration listings to understand vehicle types, data fields, and how the platform presents lots. These samples are not real Copart lots and cannot be bid on.
- 2
Create an account and complete KYC
Register and complete identity verification (KYC). We confirm who you are before any bid can be placed, as required by our compliance process and Member Terms.
- 3
Place a refundable deposit
Fund a refundable deposit in USD ($750 standard, or 10% for vehicles over $7,500). Deposits are confirmed by our operator via bank transfer (USD or EUR) or cash in ALL at our Tirana office. We use no third-party card processors.
- 4
Place your bid on Copart
Tell us the lot and your maximum. Once your KYC, deposit, and acceptance of the Member Terms are in place, your bid is submitted to the relevant Copart auction in real time through the Copart API. No outcome is guaranteed.
- 5
Pay and prepare for import
If a bid succeeds, we confirm the balance due (operator-confirmed payment) and begin preparing the vehicle and documents for shipment to Albania.
- 6
Import via the Port of Durrës
The vehicle is shipped to the Port of Durrës, cleared through Albanian customs, and delivered onward. Duties, VAT, and registration are handled in line with current Albanian rules.
Import and customs into Albania
Vehicles purchased through our service are typically shipped to the Port of Durrës, the main maritime gateway for vehicle imports into Albania. From there the vehicle is cleared through customs and made available for onward delivery and registration.
Import duties, value-added tax (VAT), excise where applicable, environmental and registration fees, and any technical or homologation requirements are set and administered by the Albanian customs authority and other competent Albanian authorities. These rules can change. You, the customer, are responsible for confirming the current requirements that apply to your specific vehicle before you commit to a purchase.
- Customs duties and VAT are determined by Albanian authorities, not by Premium Auto Bid.
- Registration, inspection, and any homologation steps follow Albanian rules in force at the time of import.
- Vehicle age, engine type, emissions, and declared value can all affect what you pay.
- Shipping route, port handling, storage, and documentation timelines vary case by case.
Any landed-cost figures we provide are non-binding estimates only. Final costs depend on the specific vehicle, the port and shipping route, customs assessment, applicable taxes and fees, and documentation. We do not guarantee duty amounts, taxes, clearance timelines, or registration outcomes; these are determined by the relevant Albanian authorities.
Real-time bidding and AS-IS vehicles
Premium Auto Bid places your bids on Copart in real time through the Copart API. We are a broker acting on your instructions; we are not the auction house and not the seller. Before any bid is submitted, your identity verification, deposit, and Member Terms acceptance must be in place.
Vehicles offered through third-party auction sources are sold AS-IS, where-is. Auction descriptions, photographs, condition codes, title brands, odometer readings, and history reports originate from third parties and can be incomplete or inaccurate. We pass on the information available to us but cannot verify or guarantee it.
We make no guarantee as to a vehicle's condition, title status, mileage, history, or that any particular bid will succeed. Auction results and import timelines are outside our control. Please review each lot carefully and ask questions before placing a bid.
Deposits and payments
Deposits are taken in USD: $750 as standard, or 10% of the vehicle value for vehicles priced over $7,500. A confirmed deposit is one of the conditions that must be in place before any bid is placed.
All payments are confirmed manually by our operator. We accept bank transfer in USD or EUR, and cash in ALL at our Tirana office. We do not use third-party card processors, and we do not store card details. You will always receive confirmation from our team once a payment is recorded.
